Hi, I'm Sara.

When I'm not swapping places with my drawings, I'm hard at work making them at my home base in New Jersey. Or traveling the country bringing Inclement Illustrations to some funky events. Or managing my online art shop. Or prowling for new editorial, narrative, developmental, and private commission gigs. Or live streaming some creative nonsense so we can go mad together. Or chillin' with my feline familiars.

My (totally) healthy relationship with art began when I was a wee lass and consumed me until I graduated with a BFA in Animation & Illustration, dipped my toes in 2D animation, became the resident phantom of a local theatre, and spent 6 years building a portfolio and business on the side. The temptation of a sleepless life on the road was too much for me to resist, and I took my insanity full time in 2023.

I use a combination of traditional and digital mediums with some humor, horror, and a dash of heresy to conjure up the lil' creeps I share a mind with. Some sweet, some sharp — but all inevitably influenced by various folktales, cryptids, and boogeymen alike.
