About the Artist
Sara J Clement is a mixed media dark fantasy artist with a focus on surrealism, creature design, and worldwide folklore. She uses traditional and digital mediums to create surreal horror and fantasy illustrations, fine art prints, greeting cards, and stationery. Sara’s ink and marker work is noted for its intricate stippled details and dark whimsical themes.
Sara earned a BFA in 2D Animation & Illustration and began selling her art online as greeting cards in 2018, and has since created a full-time business around her work. She creates and packages all of her products at her home studio in NJ and sells her art in-person at an average of 20 events per year. When she’s not drawing, Sara enjoys spending time with her partner and cats, writing, reading, and exploring local thrift stores.
